Our methodology is based a holistic approach to language learning focusing on communicative learning, as we focus on the students’ listening, oral comprehension, reading and writing skills. All our classrooms are equipped with interactive projectors, which allow our teachers to make the classes interesting, dynamic and collaborative.
Doing official exams is a good way to provide motivation as students see themselves capable of improving their English and passing the different Cambridge English exams (KET, PET, FCE, CAE y CPE).
Every course has a book, which we use to study level appropriate grammatical structures and vocabulary. A wide range of additional resources apart from the course books, including but exclusive to: games, audio and video materials as well as level appropriate readers are used based on the students’ needs.
Our groups are small, as the minimum students per class are 4 and the maximum 12, which means that the teacher can offer greater individual attention to each student, and the students can improve their communication skills more quickly as a result.
The students spend time working individually but also in pairs or small groups, working together to improve communication skills, always while observed, helped and encouraged by the teacher.
Apart from the 3 hours that students are in the school, we provide continuous evaluation as the students will have homework so they can review and reinforce the language they have learnt in class and they will have the chance to go through their work with their teacher. Regularly, short tests and exams will be done to observe how the students are progressing in their group.
Our school offers courses for students of all levels, starting from the beginning (Elementary/A1) progressing to higher levels such as Advanced (CAE) or Proficiency (CPE).
